This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our websites and landing pages (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information You Provide to Us
When you request to be matched with a contractor, we collect the information you enter, which may include your name, phone number, email address, property address, zip code, and details about your project (such as the project type, the age of your roof or system, project details like budget or materials, timeline, payment preference, and what matters most to you in a contractor).
2. Information We Collect Automatically
When you visit the Service, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information, including your IP address, approximate location (such as city, state, and zip code derived from your IP address), device and browser type, pages viewed, and how you interacted with the page. We collect this through cookies, local storage, web beacons, and similar technologies.
3. Advertising, Analytics, and Tracking
We use third-party advertising and analytics services to measure the performance of our pages and advertising, which may set their own cookies or receive event data from the Service. These may include:
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising tools, including the Meta Pixel and Conversions API;
- Google analytics and advertising tools;
- Microsoft Clarity, which records anonymized session interactions (such as clicks and scrolling) to help us improve the page experience;
- ActiveProspect TrustedForm, which records how you interacted with our match-request form (including the consent language shown to you and the time you submitted) so that the consent you gave to be contacted can be documented and verified;
- Twilio, which we may use to send a one-time text code to confirm that the phone number you entered is yours;
- Other measurement and attribution tools (such as campaign and click identifiers passed in page URLs).
You can limit tracking through your browser settings, ad platform settings, and industry opt-out tools such as the NAI opt-out page.
4. How We Use Your Information
- To match you with the contractors, partners, and networks that serve your area and fit your project;
- To contact you about your request by phone, text message, or email, and to coordinate your free inspection or quote;
- To operate, improve, and secure the Service;
- To measure and improve our advertising;
- To comply with legal obligations.
5. How We Share Your Information
Contractors, partners, and networks. The core purpose of the Service is to connect you with contractors. We share the information you submit on this page, including your name, contact details, and consent, with the home improvement contractors, partners, and lead networks we match you with, so they and the contractors they match you with can contact you about your project. A current list of these companies is at vettedhomeprosusa.com/partners. These companies compensate us for these introductions; you never pay us anything.
Service providers. We share information with vendors that help us operate the Service (such as hosting, communications, CRM, and analytics providers), under obligations to protect it.
Legal. We may disclose information to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect rights, safety, and property.
We share your information only as described in this policy.
Your text-message opt-in is not shared. If you check the optional text box on our form, that opt-in is an agreement between you and Vetted Home Pros only. We do not share, sell, or transfer that text opt-in to any third party or affiliate, and no one else may text you on the strength of it. Separately, under the contact consent shown on our form, your phone number is shared with the companies we match you with so they can contact you about your project.
6. Calls and Text Messages
By submitting a match request, you agree that Vetted Home Pros and the home improvement contractors, partners, and networks we share your information with, and the contractors they match you with, may contact you about your project at the phone number and email you provided, including by phone call, text message, and email, as described in the consent shown on our form.
Vetted Home Pros Request Updates texts. If you check the optional text box on our form, Vetted Home Pros (Roof Ignite Ltd) may text you about your match request, such as confirmations, match details, and appointment updates. Message frequency varies based on your request. Checking the box is optional and is not required to submit a request. Separately, if you ask us to verify your phone number, we text you a one-time code. Message and data rates may apply. You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message; we will send one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. For help, reply HELP or contact us at [email protected]. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Texts from the companies we match you with. Those companies send their own messages. Reply STOP to any of their messages to stop texts from that sender.
No mobile opt-in information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
7. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain sharing. Because sharing your information with a contractor, partner, or network may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under some state privacy laws (such as the California Consumer Privacy Act), you have the right to opt out of that sharing.
To exercise any of these rights, including "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information," email us at [email protected] with your name, phone number, and the request you are making. We will verify and respond as required by applicable law, and we do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
8. Data Security and Retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We retain information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy and as required by law.
9. Children
The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
